About CoZo Limited

CoZo limited was formed by Linda Mattacks and Phil Parkin to provide a range of Business Development training products, ranging from soft skills training, such as branding, networking and marketing research through to full on sales training both by telephone and face-to-face.


The emphasis on the training for any individual is that any course must be effective, ethical, affordable and within the delegate's zone of comfort.


The emphasis on the course material is modularity, so that individual courses can be assembled to meet any need - Senior Management, sales, technical or junior staff.

Linda has more than 25 years' experience in sales, telemarketing, business development and data management and training.

She has worked in a number of sectors including media, healthcare, advertising and communications and IT. Moreover, her clients are drawn from a wide range of service and solution providers and the manufacturing industry, from blue chip corporations to small and medium sized businesses.

She has helped her clients achieve significant growth through a structured yet personalised approach, both to retain and develop existing business and identify and target new prospects.

Linda had her grounding in training at the then Thompson owned Times newspaper group, which was renowned for the high quality of its sales training. She has spent many years managing and training people in sales, marketing and communication skills. Recognising the profound value of telemarketing and business development done well and the horrors of many unprofessional attempts in this area, Linda has written the Comfort Zone range of Business Development training modules.

Drawing on her considerable sales, research and training experience she assembles these modules into individual distance learning courses that are both effective and enjoyable.

The courses provide easily accessible training for people who are not in a position (or may not want) to take time out to attend formal training sessions, either in-house or on other premises. She is the primary point of e- and telephone coaching, acting as a sounding board, providing an empathetic ear and sound advice and guidance to course delegates.

Linda Mattacks has been a full Member of the Institute of Direct Marketing since membership was made available in 1995.


Phil Parkin

Phil Parkin

Director - CoZo Limited

Phil brings broad experience of Business Development for smaller companies mainly within the IT industry.

Much of this has been as Company Director or Senior Management with Sales and Marketing responsibilities.

Phil started in the IT industry in operations and operations management. Moving into software he spent several years in programmimg, systems analysis, systems design and implementation, team and project management, customer support and liaison before moving into sales.

His sales roles have included systems, software and services.

As salesman he has provided major software solutions to blue chip companies across the UK and Europe. As senior manager/Director he has been responsible not only for sales and marketing but also for solution design and Project management and implementation.
